Crane Rail Fixing Clips and Rails

Our rail fixing clips (from Gantrail) and rail range are selected to deliver a complete, robust and precisely aligned rail installation for demanding moving applications. Crane rails typically require tight tolerances, so the clips are infinitely adjustable for accurate rail alignment and designed to withstand the high lateral forces from crane wheels. Depending on duty level and installation preference, clips can be supplied with bolted or welded lower components, including self-locking designs with an elastomer “nose” that applies a controlled clamping force to limit unwanted rail movement.

For the rail itself, we support projects with a wide selection of rail profiles—not only crane rail sections (thick-web) but also alternative industrial and rail-style profiles where relevant. Rail selection is typically verified against head width, web strength and steel grade, and when a specified section is not readily available, we can recommend suitable alternatives. Rails are commonly produced in wear-resistant grades with tensile strengths typically in the 600–900 N/mm² range (overall approx. 550–1100 N/mm²).

We also supply complementary accessories for rails and fixing clips, including rail heating systems, grout/filling compounds, and steel soleplates to support a complete and durable installation. An overview of our assortment for fixing clips, rail and complementary products is found here.
