Rail
crane rail, grooved rail, construction rails and others
We supply rails for crane and industrial applications and support you in selecting the right profile for your installation. Rail selection is rarely “one size fits all”. Availability, local standards and required capacity often vary between markets and projects. Tell us your requirements and we will help you evaluate availability, design and suitable alternatives if the specified rail section is not available or not appropriate for the duty.
There is a wide range of rail profiles used worldwide. The most common types include crane rail sections with thick webs (for high loads), railway-style profiles with thinner webs, and rectangular sections with flanges forming a foot (flanged rails). When a rail is not explicitly specified, the crane supplier should at minimum provide the rail head width. In a typical design or verification, key checks include whether the head width is adequate, whether the web is strong enough, and whether the steel grade matches the expected duty and service life.
If you can’t find the rail profile you are looking for — or want to discuss your load case, local availability and selection criteria — contact us and we’ll help you specify the right rail solution for your project.
